『Movies Heard as Songs and Songs Seen as Movies』tells of diverse stories composed by numerous musicians who led Korean popular music when they met movies. The effort of Lee Cheol, who led the Chosun Musical Troupe in the Japanese colonial era, to contain “Singing Chosun” in films, the encounter with movies by Kim Sisters as the first girl group after the liberation, which registered its name on the first page of the history of the Korean wave, the movie life of Park Si-chun who acted as a composer representing the Korean popular music world while publishing numerous hit songs, and the music life of Han Sang-gi known as master in the film music world richly color this book. In addition, this book found materials that pleased the public’s ears and eyes as records, and then as music dramas, and thereafter as movies, introducing movies that enable reviewing one side of the popular music world at that time.
