the translation of news articles related to Joseon films carried in 6 media such as International Film Newspaper (Feb. 1927 to Nov. 1940), New Film (Jan. to Mar.), Proletariat Film (Aug. 1930), Kinema Junbo (Mar. to Apr. 1930), Film Criticism (Film Criticism Publisher, Jan. 1937 to Aug. 1940), and Film Criticism (Japanese Film Criticism Publisher, Mar. 1941 to Jan. 1944). It provides insight into the discourse and reaction of Japan to Joseon films, which were hardly accessible due to language barriers.？
