The lyrics from the Beatles' song, "You tell me that you've got everything you want, and your bird can sing, but you don't get me, you don't get me....." reflect the complexities of youth. Similarly, the film "And Your Bird Can Sing" based on Yasushi Sato's original work, delicately portrays the anxieties and beauty of youth through the story of the protagonists.
